If you are already using another API of ours, there is no need to worry: We are not shutting down previous APIs – they will remain available as always.

We’ve given this API the name Mobile Messaging API as it is a solution for our customers focusing on sending messages to global mobile phone numbers identified by MSISDN.

This API is GatewayAPI’s latest REST API, designed to streamline and simplify SMS and RCS messaging to phone numbers.

The Mobile Messaging API represents the future of GatewayAPI and has been developed based on our company values, one of which is simplicity. It simplifies integration by requiring only one setup, which can be developed over time as new technologies become available. Furthermore, it only operates with two SMS message types: SMS and SMS Plus.
